Vietnam attracts US$2.3 bln in FDI in first four months (TMCnet, Apr. 27, 2006)
June 5, 2006

"Vietnam attracted US$2.3 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) through 199 projects during the past four months, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment. Figures for the first four months of the year show a 12 per cent increase in the number of projects and a 32 per cent rise in capital over the same period last year. This year's rising foreign investment is in part due to 23 projects worth $288 million licensed in April."
