The 9th Vietnam International Woodworking Industry Fair 2011 opened its doors to the public from October 12th to 15th at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention, Ho Chi Minh City. With 10,062 visitors and buyers registered for the fair, it was a most dynamic exhibition. The exhibition’s floor space covered around 12,500 sq. meters, with nearly 500 booths of 260 well-known exhibitors from 19 international countries and areas in participation. These included companies from: Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the U.S.A., Israel and Vietnam.
Vietnamwood reached an impressive milestone this year with most number of endorsements from international woodworking-and-furniture-related industries and associations. The show was supported by : the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufactures (EUMABOIS), the VDMA Association (Germany), the TWMA Association (Taiwan) and the AHEC - American Hardwood Export Council. The support from all these organizations truly contributed to Vietnamwood’s ever-increasing worldwide importance and professionalism.NUMBERS OF VISITORS

Exhibitors said that Vietnamwood is one of the biggest Woodworking manufacturing fair in Vietnam, and they are satisfied with the result, effectiveness, and service of the organizers.
Over 80 % confirmed their interest to participate again in the next edition 2013.
A total of 75% of Vietnamwood’s exhibitors rated the show professional, the staffs are friendly and enthusiastic, the preparation is very good, and exhibitors were informed with all necessary information, lots of potential customers.
